WeChat is described as a Swiss army knife super app that seemingly does everything. Simple comparison-an American user might require up to 20+ apps to satisfy their app needs, but a Chinese user only needs WeChat. WeChat Pay is the easiest way for foreigners living in China to send and receive money. WeChat is the most popular app in China, and it’s, without a doubt, the Super App in China. It’s used for instant messaging and so much more! For example, if you have WeChat Pay, you literally don’t have to carry any cash in China. Of course, you can also communicate with your colleagues, manage your team, and transfer large files through WeChat Web! WeChat Web WeChat Web is available for all WeChat users on iOS, Android, and Windows. Once set up, you can WeChat with your colleagues directly on your desktop through the WeChat Web. But do you know that you can use WeChat Web? You can go from touchscreen to big screen! I don’t know if iTunes will back up your WeChat data if you use an iPhone or not.You are using WeChat and WeChat Group for your business and getting a lot of benefits from it. If you have one already, I’m sure it will back up and export your chats perfectly well but you don’t need to buy one specifically for this use. While I’m sure they work, the app has its own tools built in so you don’t need to pay for a specific app for this job. There are a bunch of backup tools that also say they can back up your chats from WeChat. Once complete, you can factory wipe your old one or do whatever you need to do with it. Confirm by selecting Restore again on the phone.Ī copy of your chat history should then be transferred from your computer backup to your new phone.Select all or specific chats to restore and select OK.Select Restore on Phone from the PC app menu.Select your new phone and log into WeChat on there.The Chat history will be saved to your computer.This should appear as you finished Step 4. Select the Backup All option on your phone.Select Backup and Restore and Back up on PC.Select the three line menu icon in the bottom left of the screen.Open the program and log in using your WeChat ID.Download and install WeChat for PC from here.You will still need access to your old phone for this to work. One very useful feature is the ability to back up and export your chat history. It’s a useful tool if you’re big into WeChat and don’t always have your phone to hand. Your chats should be exported as soon as the QR code is verified. Log into WeChat on your new phone and scan the QR code on your old device.Check the boxes next to the chats you want to export to your new phone or Select All at the bottom of the screen.Select Migrate Chats to Another Device.Select Backup and Migrate Chats on the next screen.Open WeChat on your phone and select Me.Join both your old phone and new phone to the same WiFi network and make sure they are visible to each other.If you still have your old phone, do this:
